IT Implementation Engineer I
Avel eCARE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Implementation Engineer I to support the deployment and implementation of technology solutions for Avel and its customers. This full-time position plays a key role in configuring, testing, and deploying hardware and software, ensuring seamless implementation and high-quality service delivery. The IT Implementation Engineer I will provide technical support during customer onboarding and go-live processes, troubleshoot network and connectivity issues, and maintain accurate documentation and inventory records. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

General Hours of Work: Monday – Fridays (Days, with some weekend, evening, night schedules and call time involvement as required)

Reports To: Manager IT Implementation and Logistics
Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and deploy equipment and software for Avel and customer devices.
- Assist customers during the implementation process and go-live testing by providing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity, hardware, and performance issues.
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support related to deployment and implementation activities.
- Interact with end-users to clarify reported issues and deliver timely resolutions for equipment failures or service degradations.
- Create and maintain knowledge base (KB) articles to support troubleshooting of Avel-deployed services.
- Pack, ship, receive, and track IT equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Maintain logs, device inventories, and comprehensive technical documentation, including application notes, drawings, and configuration details.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to coordinate deployments, schedules, and project requirements.
- Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to ensure proper approval, documentation, and successful implementation of network and infrastructure changes.
- Participate in the analysis, collection, and maintenance of records required for Quality Assurance, compliance initiatives (including JCAHO, SOC 2, and OSHA), and other regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science is required.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytical tools is preferred.
