SUMMARY

Avel eCare is currently seeking a dynamic Client Relationship Executive to join its growing team. The Client Relationship Executive is responsible for driving revenue expansion and cross-sales within the existing client base while ensuring revenue retention. This quota-carrying role leads high-value client relationships within a defined territory, executes the organization’s strategic growth strategy, and serves as a trusted advisor for key stakeholders. The Client Relationship Executive works closely with the Client Delivery Manager to manage complex customer engagements, execute retention strategies, and oversee the successful integration and optimization of Avel eCare service lines. This position serves as the key liaison between the customer’s executive leadership team and Avel leadership, championing client needs and positioning Avel eCare’s virtual health system platform as a transformational solution. The Client Relationship Executive collaborates with internal teams to identify revenue opportunities, provide strategic insights, and improve operational efficiencies while fostering innovation and growth across the organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Strategic Account Leadership:  

  • Manages and grows relationships with high-priority clients within a defined territory acting as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders. 
  • Develops and executes strategic account plans & win strategies focusing on retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction in collaboration with the Client Delivery Manager. 

2. Client Management:  

  • Leads customer and stakeholder meetings, including executive briefings, service reviews, and consultation sessions.  
  • Identifies and pursues cross-sell/up-sell opportunities within assigned clients to drive revenue expansion and maximize service line adoption and impact.  
  • Works closely with the Client Delivery Manager to align on service delivery, identify growth opportunities, and ensure seamless client experience. 
  • Drives service recovery strategy and ensures client satisfaction through tailored support strategies that support revenue retention. 

3. Collaboration & Coordination:  

  • Works closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Innovation teams to align strategies and drive business outcomes.  
  • Provides mentorship and support to Client Delivery Managers, fostering professional development and best practices.  
  • Collaborates with leadership to refine client segmentation and prioritize resource allocation for optimal account management.  

4. Data-Driven Insights:  

  • Analyzes customer performance metrics, feedback, and industry trends with a focus on revenue growth, quota attainment and client retention to inform strategy and decision-making.  
  • Prepares and delivers detailed account reporting, including financial performance, operational efficiencies, and service utilization.  

5. Advocacy & Representation:  

  • Represents Avel eCare at state medical associations, national conferences, and other  
  • professional forums to promote service lines and foster relationships.  
  • Advocates for customer needs within Avel, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service excellence.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Healthcare Management is preferred.  
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or client relations, with a focus on healthcare or telemedicine is required. Demonstrated success managing high-value accounts and developing strategic partnerships and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects is required.  

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS  

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avel automobile liability insurance carrier.  
  •  Professional certifications in healthcare, business, or project management is preferred (e.g., PMP, CPAM).
