SUMMARY

Avel eCare is currently seeking a dynamic Director of Growth to join its growing team. The Director of Growth is responsible for driving the acquisition of new logos and achieving aggressive growth targets across all service lines of Avel eCare, a leading virtual health system. This position strategically positions and promotes Avel eCare’s comprehensive virtual health solutions to prospective clients, executing a high-impact strategic sales process to secure new partnerships and expand market reach while supporting retention and growth of existing accounts. The Director will coordinate activities with the Chief Revenue Officer, Executive Director of Business Development, medical leadership, and Client Relationship team to identify, qualify, and close high-potential prospects in the best interests of the client and Avel eCare. This individual interacts with multiple stakeholders, must be flexible, and is committed to building strong external and internal relationships to drive results. The role requires strong self-direction, accountability, and extensive travel. Performance is measured primarily by new logo acquisitions, ACV bookings from new business, strategic partnerships, and overall revenue growth for Avel eCare’s virtual health services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Develops and effectively communicates the strategic value proposition of Avel eCare as a leading virtual health system and its full suite of virtual care services to prospective new clients (new logos). Builds in-depth market and customer knowledge to support consultative selling and expand awareness of Avel eCare’s innovative virtual health solutions across target audiences.

2. Leads the full strategic end-to-end sales process for new logos, including prospect identification and targeting, qualification, needs assessment, solution design, client presentations and executive-level meetings, proposal development, negotiation, sales closure, and coordination of implementation for Avel eCare virtual health services.

3. Proactively builds and maintains a robust pipeline of high-potential prospective clients through targeted market research, networking, outreach, and industry engagement; conducts comprehensive needs assessments to qualify opportunities and ensure a consistent flow of qualified new business prospects aligned with Avel eCare’s virtual health offerings.

4. Conducts regular assessments of existing clients to identify cross-selling and expansion opportunities and potential retention risks, taking proactive action to maximize account value while maintaining primary focus on new logo acquisition and strategic growth initiatives.

5. Delivers a comprehensive monthly sales and retention report that outlines new logo pipeline status, strategic sales activities, win/loss analysis, current sales strategy, client retention risks, ACV forecasts, and potential service line opportunities.

6. Collaborates with Avel Marketing to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns and materials that position Avel eCare as the premier virtual health system. Reviews effectiveness and recommends plan revisions as appropriate.

7. Benchmarks Avel eCare’s virtual health service lines against competitors and communicates findings and strategic insights to service line leaders to inform positioning and growth strategies.

8. Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with strategic partners such as tertiary hospitals, national and state associations, and business partners to generate new logo opportunities and advance Avel eCare’s position in the virtual health market.

9. Is responsible for alerting eCare Leadership on potential issues affecting new and existing business relationships and providing strategic recommendations for resolution. Is required to have the ability to travel extensively and actively participate at state medical associations, national conferences, and social events to generate leads, build partnerships, and promote Avel eCare as a virtual health system.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience is preferred in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales & promotion of Healthcare Services preferred.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license and the employee is and remain insurable by the Avel automobile liability insurance carrier.
