SUMMARY:
The Workforce Planning Analyst is part of the Clinical Operations team of Avel eCare. This role will be responsible for modeling, forecasting, and analysis of staffing models for all clinical workforce teams. This role will use comprehensive data sets to help visualize trends, display actionable workforce insights, and assist in determining key performance indicators. The Analyst will display domain expertise, self-direction, critical thinking and organizational navigation aptitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for creating staffing models for all clinical teams ensuring data is accurate, informative and actionable.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leaders to support staffing decisions, growth projections and staffing volatility. Creating multiple staffing model scenarios and providing insight and recommendations to improve clinical cost structure.
- Create management reports and dashboards as required and ensure timely distribution. Creates ad hoc reports, presentations, and summary findings utilizing reliable data meeting the needs of the Avel eCare stakeholders.
- Communicates in a consistent manner with each Avel eCare General Manager providing staffing insights, variances in performance, opportunities for improvement and impacts of growth and retraction.
- Leverages Avel eCare’s scheduling and proprietary software in analyzing data, making recommendations for data collection, quality improvements, and functionality. Understands the system limitations and provides solutions to remove restrictions.
- Liaison for Clinical Operations to Support Departments by creating reports, dashboards and ensuring accuracy of data to assist performance of Avel eCare. Performing analysis of cost and productivity improvement.
- Organize, execute, and present on workforce optimization, data set enhancements, and special projects assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics/Statistics/Finance/Economics or related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of directly related experience with workforce planning is preferred.
- Experience building analytics, models, and reporting using MS Excel, Power BI.
- Demonstration of strong analytical, critical thinking, and computational skills.
- Experience in healthcare delivery is preferred.

REQUIRED COMMUNICATION/MATHEMATICAL/REASONING SKILLS:

- Must be able to perform basic operations on a personal computer within the Windows operating system.
- This position requires problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multi-task.
