Reports To: Executive Director of Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition
SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the talent acquisition, onboarding and the benefits reconciliation process. Will be responsible for maintaining files and storing and updating information in the appropriate databases. The HR Coordinator makes sure certain processes are administered to meet federal and state regulations. This role provides administrative support to the People and Culture function as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Has a comprehensive understanding of and supports the recruitment and onboarding process from requisition request to onboarding a new hire.
Recruitment:
- Posts positions, coordinate interviews, manage and update tracking systems.
- Reviews resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Onboarding:
- Launches and tracks completion of new hire documents including, I9, Background check, W9, Direct Deposit and position specific requirements etc.
- Assures all required onboarding documentation is obtained prior to start date of employee or contractor.
- Builds and activates W2 new hires into the HRIS system.
- Launches the appropriate, position specific, new hire education modules.
- Launches and tracks the completion of new hire check-ins.
Process Improvement:
- Identifies areas for improvement, communicate and collaborate with appropriate parties to gather input and facilitate approved process changes.
Administrative Support:
- Maintains accurate and confidential employee records.
- Manages the tracking, communication and escalation process of required education, licensing and certification.
- Reviews and manages the HR inbox for timely, customer-focused responses.
- Nectar administration- adding and archiving staff as needed, reporting, trouble shooting.
- Values in Action card process administration. Gathering and putting them together for ELT/SLT review. Sending them to leaders following ELT/SLT review.
- Scheduling meetings and supports the coordinating events such the airway conference.
Benefits Administration:
- Assists with the benefits enrollment and answering employee inquiries.
- Serves as the backup and regularly performs the monthly benefits reconciliation to assure competence.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 7-10 years of work experience within human resources for a US based company is required.
- 5-10 years’ experience supporting the Talent Acquisition Process within the healthcare industry.
- Experience with HRIS software is required.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Project management skills.
