SUMMARY
Avel eCare is expanding its impact through innovative programs such as Rural Health Transformation and other strategic growth initiatives. The Proposal Management Supervisor plays a pivotal role in advancing this mission by developing compelling, high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and related materials that position Avel eCare as a leader in virtual care delivery.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional written communication skills and the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and audience-specific content. Success in this role requires strong analytical and synthesis abilities to translate complex technical, clinical, and operational information into accessible narratives, along with experience collaborating across diverse internal teams and managing input from multiple stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate solid project management capabilities, including balancing multiple priorities, coordinating workflows, and meeting deadlines. Candidate should demonstrate familiarity with RFP processes associated with the full life of a grant award—such as requirements and eligibility analysis, compliance tracking, contracting, post-award monitoring and reporting and targeted response development—is essential, as is proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or other content management platforms. The role also requires someone who can work independently while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develops high-quality proposals and RFP responses that clearly articulate Avel eCare’s value, capabilities, and solutions.
- Researches and assesses new opportunities by reviewing RFPs, grants, and partner requests to determine alignment, requirements, and strategic fit.
- Collaborates with and convenes internal stakeholders across Product, Clinical Operations, Finance, Business Development, and other teams to gather information, validate requirements and eligibility, and design a proposal strategy that ensures program elements align Avel’s organizational mission with funder priorities
- Synthesizes complex information into concise, compelling narratives tailored to the needs of rural health systems, partners, and funders.
- Develops project workflow documents and tools, including timelines, responsibilities, and communication plans to ensure timely and accurate submissions of both pre- and post-award requirements.
- Creates and refine proposal budgets in partnership with Finance and Product leadership.
- Supports post-award project management by assisting with project kickoff, tracking deliverables, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring alignment with commitments made in awarded proposals
- Collaborates with service lines to draft and submit progress and quality reports required by funding agency or organizational leadership (including annual and quarterly funding reports as well as internal reports for various boards or stakeholders)
- Supports project-specific quality initiatives, including data management planning and reporting, to monitor and demonstrate progress toward project objectives.
- Maintains proposal assets such as templates, boilerplate content, case studies, and organizational information.
- Supports Product Team initiatives include research, content development, and special projects that advance Avel’s strategic growth.
- Ensures compliance with all submission requirements, formatting standards, and internal review processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as English, Communications, Journalism, Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related discipline is required.
- 2–5 years of professional writing experience, ideally in proposal writing, grant writing, technical writing, or marketing communications required.
- Experience working in or with healthcare organizations, managing RFP processes, project coordination and budget development preferred.
