Position: Gastroenterology/Hepatology Provider (Telemedicine)

Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Part-time: 4 hours/week, with potential to increase)
About the Opportunity:
Avel eCare Specialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology/Hepatology Specialist to provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to our diverse patient population via a state-of-the-art telemedicine platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-demand consultations via phone or video to partner clinics
- Conduct scheduled specialty consults and follow-up appointments
- Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients
- Review patient results and make tailored recommendations
- Offer provider-to-provider support through phone consults

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology
- Telemedicine experience preferred, but not required
- Active DEA certification and Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology
- At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.)
